This Indian Mom has scaled Mt Everest four times !

Indian mountaineer Anshu  Jamsenpa has scaled mount Everest yet again, the fourth time in six years. She has now become the first Indian woman to scale Mt Everest four times. Anshu achieved this feat on Tuesday morning when she reached the summit and unfurled the Indian flag. She had started her fourth climb on May 13 and reached the summit yesterday morning.

Anshu Jamsenpa lives in Arunachal Pradesh and is a mother of 2. She has before scaled the peak twice in May 2011 and on May 18 in 2013. Anshu has set a goal for a double ascent this year and thus could script history once more with 5 Everest climbs to her name.

Her spokesperson said, "The good news is she is absolutely well and fine and shall attemot a double expedition."

Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khadu congratulated Anshu for the feat and Prasar Bharti too wrote on their official twitter account, "Congratulations Anshu ! Arunachal's #AnshuJamsenpa scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman to scale Mt Everest for the fourth time."
